A Tale of Two Solutions

One of my colleagues recently approached me with a question about setting up a standard signature (footer) in Outlook. He had been told by his web development company that to install a signature for 35 staff, it would cost $4,000. Each signature was to include a logo, name, title and individual contact information, but I thought I could do better than that...

Instructor's Tip

Multiple Email Signatures

Do you ever wish you could have more than one email signature?

I have three seperate email addresses arriving in my one Outlook Inbox and I have setup a different signature for each one.

That way, when I send a personal email from my Shaw account, the email footer is different from emails sent to business clients.

The signature editor is buried pretty deep, here's how to find it.

Start in Outlook 2007, click Toolsmenu item, then select Optionsfrom the drop down list.

The options box opens, now select the tab at the top calledMail Format.

In the 4th section down, click theSignaturesbutton.

This opens the control box that allows you to create, edit and manage your signatures.

In the top right corner of this control box, you can select which messages (signatures) are used with which email account.
