Summer Time is Learning Time

Hi Gerry,

It's quiet around our offices these days as summer vacation period is in full swing.

Are you using this slower business period to "sharpen the saw" and get ready for the fall when business returns?  We have been actively sending our staff out on courses - on webinars, eLearning and other technology tools that will help us build our own capabilities, to better serve your learning needs.

Instructor's Tip

from Chris Motherwell

Inserting a Microsoft Excel Chart into a Microsoft
 PowerPoint Slideshow

If you have a chart that you created in Microsoft Excel 2007, it can easily be inserted into a slideshow in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007.

Best of all, the new chart in PowerPoint remembers where it came from and will update itself whenever the original chart or the data it is based on is updated.

Step 1: Copy the Chart in Excel
2007

Step 2: Paste the chart into PowerPoint 2007 slide

With both documents still open, change the chart or its data in Excel and watch it change automatically in PowerPoint.

FAQ Live

Each month Sector Learning alumni are invited to attend a Free FAQ Live Session as follow up to the course(s) they have taken with us.
