A Greener Sector: Going Paperless 

 

Sector Learning Solutions is proud to announce that in 2011

we will be switching to paperless learning materials.

 

Every learner will continue to receive a course manual as part of the course price, yet instead of being stuck with a 100+ page book that takes up space and collects dust on the bookcase, learners now have the option of taking a PDF manual on a portable USB drive home instead!

 

The electronic copy has many benefits, including a lightening fast search feature, the ability to view multiple pages at once, enlarge font size instantly, and most importantly, avoid paper cuts! Plus, the USB drive is resuable for storing and transporting your personal files.

 

Want both? Hard-copy reference manuals will continue to be provided for use during class. If you want to take it home, let us know and we'll write you an invoice.

Outlook 2003 to 2010

 

Do you use Linked In?

 

Did you know you can use it to enhance your communications through outlook?


Choose

"Download it now."

 

Run, or Save (and then run when it's done).

 

Follow the installation instructions.

 

Restart Outlook

 

It should prompt you to enter your Linked In account information.

 

You should now see a toolbar attached to your e-mails with a list of people who were on that e-mail.

 

If they have a linked in profile associated with that e-mail you will also be able to see things such as their picture and status updates.

 

You may also notice that the toolbar will provide a list of recent e-mails you have exchanged with that person, recent attachments you have received and even meetings you have scheduled with them in outlook.
