Learning 2.0 - A Brave New World
Hi Gerry,
Wow! Did anyone else notice how fast the world is changing?
Advances in technology are the primary driver for the rapid circulation of information around the globe. And the quicker information spreads, the more rapidly ideas, innovations, household hints and medical breakthroughs can turn into common knowledge.
I look at how my kids do their homework and am shocked and excited at how much they use the Internet for research and communication.
Like it or not, the World Wide Web and all the tools attached to it are here to stay and are rocking your world...

Instructor's Tip
 from Chris Motherwell
Removing Duplicates in Excel
Excel 2007 is a powerful tool for managing large lists of data.
Somtimes, when you import a list or combine more than one list, many duplicate entries are created. You can eliminate these duplicates the long way, by selecting each row, clicking the right mouse and selecting delete.
Fortunately, there is a quick and easy way to remove all the duplicates.
With an Excel spreadsheet open:
1. Click the Data menu item.
2. Click Remove Duplicates.
3. Select the columns you want Excel to check for duplicates.
4. Press OK.
